A quick pic of the new aquisition while I re-size some others
Only picked this up today- all original unfired. Bought from the guy who bought it in 1980 when he left the service... more to follow when I get a chance.

Just looked up some info on it.
Rifle # 41925 was completed and put to stores on Monday 4/11/44, about the 130th rifle converted less than a month after production began. It was one of twelve rifles completed that day. It's all matching by the book
It came with the lens caps, scope case, rifle bag with a job slip on it from 1980-ish with the previous owner's name on it. The pull through and oil bottle are in the butt.
There is also a Tel Sct Regt and case.
I had the seller send the "loose bits" separate. The bolt and mag were in an old brown paper bag with the serial number on it.
Here's some more pics... the scope still has grease on it. The Tel Sct Regt is a BC serialled under 3000, so it is an early one and looks almost unopened.

Mate, use any of my pics as you wish. I will probably need to "clean" the new one up a little. The woodwork is very dry and there is some dry grease and dusty crud in a few of the nooks and crannies. I'm afraid of rust developing under the dried grease, so I think I will clean it off- soliciting any comments/ opinions on this... what would you guys do?
