Your rear sight assembly came from a Bannerman rifle. It was made by crimping and spot-welding a Krag
rear sight assembly onto an M1903 rear sight fixed base. They are useful for making an ersatz rod bayonet rifle.

I had it close enough.
If it were to go onto a put together rod bayonet the leaf is ok but the sighting hub on the rear is wrong.
Like you said ersatz...
