I have a couple of Griswold bags but mine are later (1950s)? They seldom come with the hardware. Mine are both longer though and will hold anything as large as a 1919A4 or BAR.

I hear that Jim,
Bit bored also, limping around with a sore knee, but no garage time for me as it's only in the low 40's and upper 20's tonight.
While dusting off my shooter QHMC, I noticed the frt sight slide down toward the muzzle.
No frt sight pin to be found. I had cleaned this one after a range session with my Daughter last Sep, but didn't notice the missing pin. Looked over a few pictures I had from that day and could see the pin in the last couple pictures I had taken.
I remember the barrel being Big Time Hot as she emptied 30rd mag after 30rd mag. I had never had that sight off.
While looking thru a smaller parts box for a extra frt sight pin, I found I have 5 W triggers, thinking I had one/maybe 2 extra. Also found 3 more than I thought I had WRA frt sights and extra "EW" safeties. Thought I had 1 last Inland flat hammer, but see it's a IBM. Very easy to forget what you have or don't have at times.
I think I'll save some time on Sunday to go thru a couple of the larger parts boxes.
Can't help but wonder how a guy like Eddy Yuja keeps everything together so well?
As for the frt sight- It is now FIRMLY staked in with a new pin.
That's a first for me.

I also found a box on machetes, but that's a different forum.
The things you find when you have the time to look around.
Sorry it's so cold your way buddy, 82 degrees here today and forcast for the next week, shorts a T shirt weather.

Charlie, I haven't had much luck lately finding what I consider "proper" front sight pins, with the rounded ends. I have several spares that are flat on at least one end, if not both. I only have (2) that are rounded. Do you know if any of the G.I. replacements were made with flat ends? I don't have any carbines equipped with pins that are flat. Thanks!
