Beware!
Just watched "Dead Files" and according to the person who talks to the dead, that the owner of the house collects firearms prior to 1858. These firearms may contain bad JU JU
Don't fear though! All you have to do is soak a rag with holy water, let it dry and wipe down each firearm.
There. You did not even have to ask!

I normally do not watch TV but this caught me eye. Seriously, what do you engage in to keep busy? Besides this forum.

Bullet casting, gardening, work, wild blueberry picking today, reloading, plumbing repair, reading, sleeping, blackberry picking soon, hunting, praying, driving, shooting, hanging about with friends, reconstituting the personal machineshop that's been in storage or 10+ years, family dramas, eating, paring down the Ford Mustang rubble that's accumulated with the one remaining Mach I, loitering at gunshops, etc. No particular order to that list. Plus have the radio and a DVD player that gets fed the odd selection from the pawn shop and even rarely purchased new. But it weren't for great opposition that would go, too!

I go shooting and cast my own bullets, therefore reloading is a short step from there. I do some gun work for others, nothing requiring the diploma on the wall. I do some handyman work when it arises and some piece work for a local militaria shop. Mostly repair of valuable militaria. Have fixed some older toys too. I retired after 35 years army so...it's just waistin' time now.

When you can't hunt there's gathering:

I haven't done in a long time, but a friend knaps flint tools which can have edges as sharp as any razor. There's always something better than TV! Even "caveman" stuff!

jmoore,
Same type of scenario regarding TV... but still working full time.
I used to be a TV addict. Don't get me wrong... there are some good shows I would like to watch.... We have a DVD and Blue Ray player (VHS finally died). But I normally don't find time for that...
Between work and the "farm", I find that TV is not essential.
I figure that most of the worlds problems revolve around boredom. If more people were actually busy, you would see an end to many problems... Including famine... over population and standard of living.
Just wish I had more $$ and time for that ole machine shop I want to have!!
Now off to do something productive!
