    My only 1903

    This is my only 1903. Barrel is (as you can see) HS 12 44, I recently moved and this was way at the back of the safe. I think the last time I saw it was 2008!

    Nice rifle! I like the early Scant stocks make by SA. Is it possible for the rifle to be, not a "re-build", but an original build of spare parts? Maybe the stock was used as NOS?

    The semi-circular relief under the bolt was done by an arsenal, but the dent below does look like another bolt was smashed in. Who knows?
