Dr. Charles “Skip” Stratton Passes.......
Dr. Charles “Skip” Stratton, 68, long time University of Idaho professor and avid outdoor enthusiast passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 3, 2006. During his retirement, Skip enjoyed exploring the roads less traveled throughout the West in his Jeep, and also found time to author three reference books on
British
Enfield Rifles
.
Skip is survived by his wife of 18 years Lois “Butch” Stratton; his five children, Sandi, Bob, Will, Sue, and Jim; and four grandchildren. Donations can be made to Heart Clinics Northwest at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.
On behalf of our membership, I'd like to extend our deepest sympathies to his wife and family.

Fair winds and a bright sunset...................
So I can't spell, so what!!!
Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Those who beat their swords into ploughshares, will plough for those who don't!
Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

Its very sad to loose anyone in our small group of enthusiast . There lives will always survive in the memories of those they have touched and lessons of life will always remain as long as we let them. V.B.R.-SDH
