They used to wear an early form of desert boots invented by a bloke called Captain Barratt of the 8th Army,. He eventually went on to own and run a large chain of shoe shops in the UKicon called, strangely enough Barratts. So there it is if you have ever bought a pair of shoes from Barratts. By coincidence, this liottle story appeared in the National papers here in obituary form a few weeks ago after the man himself passed on

In Aden, the terrain was toooo tough for crepe soled desert boots so leather soled/ammo boots or the later DMS boots with woolen socks rolled down over the tops were the norm. Nylon socks were a killer of feet as they sweated like a vicar on his way to hell! Vehicle tyres off road were lifed in weeks

In my country the criminals have more rights than the victims. It's hard for me to explain in English language the current situation of the use of firearms by the good people. The politicians do not know how to stop delinquency, since the current government over 10 years ago, that his State Policy are human rights of the victims of the military dictatorship, therefore have been commissioned to disarm civilians and the Armed Forces. I want to not comment on this particular issue because it is difficult for me to explain in more detail.
    Regards
