I used to love compass and map reading courses. I particularly liked looking for the idiots who were just sure that they knew better and that the compass was wrong.

Funny you should say that.........
How many times have I seen people with the map laid out on the bonnet of the Landrover or alongside a 432........ with the compass open and sat on it!!!!!!
That made me laugh. I've seen that too - and the quizical looks on their faces when they can't work out why it doesn't work.

Well Brian one would hope they allowed for the magnetic variation on the tank, the most dangerous thing is the one Bruce describes but with ammo as well they think they are surrounded all the time and open fire in any direction that takes their whim!!
