Third quarter of 1943. I.B.M. built about 5.6% or 346,500 carbines. It is one of their early builds, about 7,800 into their run. Though not rare it is from a maker with a lower production. You haven't mentioned how the other parts are marked. Having an adj rear sight usually means a rebuild. Condition, originality, all contribute to value. Without knowing more it appears to be a rebuilt, possibly mixed parts, gun.

Thanks all and Jim. I don't know where to find other numbers. The sight moves left and right and I believe forward and backwards.

It moves😄 as for pictures I have a couple feet of snow out. When it gets better I will get it outside and take some.
