light bronze green

I am looking for light bronze green paint. problem is I am in the US and I can only find it for sale in the UK. is there an American version of that color sorry colour. if so what would it be called?

I'm sure that there is a light bronze green paint here but the only ones I've heard of in use were DEEP bronze green and MID bronze green. If you send a paint colour scraping to the paint company they're pretty good at identifying on the spectrometer and will send the paint mic code

Yes agreed. As Peter has said, I also have only ever seen this paint Termed. Deep Bronze green in Service. Having used it myself on some of my own vehicles. I can say that dependant
on how much you thin it down. & if you add a SMALL amount of a lighter paint colour. You would get a lighter shade of it on paint finish.

But, the Bottom line is: Paint, Deep Bronze Green......................

All we seemed to use was Deep Bronze Green but MID bronze green was used on export Land Rovers destined for...., well....., export!. If you have a 60's or early 70's Austin, Morris, MG, British Leyland car with a green engine block, then this is MID bronze green. While I was restoring my Mini Cooper I took some paint samples down to a big German paint importers (GLASURIT-BECK) who scanned the samples and identified it as Mid Bronze Green. And it was...... They mixed me a can of slow drying heat resistant paint for free.

There was a sequel too........ One of the top men there got to know I was restoring a car and asked me about it. To cut a long story short, he said that if it was just a newly restored shell on wheels, with a bonnet, boot and doors ready to fit, they would paint it for me for free as part of their training school syllabus for top quality painters. And they did! Put SKD220G into the search engine to see the result
