A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Well Ken, at least you have a sense of humour, you've taken a bit of ribbing from the members and you are still coming back.

That's always a good thing, I am sure I speak for all of us when I say that we are eager to see the photos of the rifle.

Just a Shin Gunto or have you had a look at the signature? Pity about the tip.

Yep the tip is a tad ratty but better than some I have seen it is untouched I swapped it for a 1917 '07 bayonet so not to bad a deal see pic of the Mei if you can decipher it I think it is around 1944 vintage I had toyed with the idea of getting it refurbed in Japanicon but have learned they are not doing WWII stuff at all now.Attachment 71472

Can we add a "shanks" button? or maybe one of those funky emoticons "scrambling the eggs"?

Ill "stab" at an almost completley scrubbed Ishapore refurbished blob in 410 and US cut for commercial cartridges.

    Happy Friday
