czech vz 24???
Hi guys,
I just got a look at at ,what I think is a Czech vz24 Mauser.
It has a round shaped receiver medallian that says Czechoslovakia
(sp).
The part that I don't know about is it doesn't have full length top wood.
the barrel shows back to the stock clamp. The guy that has it says its a 1933 vintage.
Could it still be a VZ? No pix yet
Thanks

Pics would be helpful. The Czech
crest is a lion but they did mark some simply with the country name and factory code. The Czech 98/22 does not have wood going all the way to the barrel end. Neither does the VZ12/33 carbine.

I have found after doing some research it is a 98/22 with the curved lettering.
