WHATEVER NEXT - COCKS NOT GLOCKS
Angered by the fact that law-abiding students, faculty, and staff can now exercise their right to keep and bear arms on campus, organizers of the gun-control organization “Cocks not Glocks” held a rally at the University of Texas at Austin on Wednesday.
This wasn’t just any ordinary gun-control get-together. To live up to their name, which was a joke at first, Cocks not Glocks protesters handed out large dildos to participants to show their opposition to Senate Bill 11, which legalized campus carry on public universities.
Speaking before the large crowd, the founder of the organization, Jessica Jin, said, “It seems that I have cracked an enormous dick joke on the internet,” according to a report by MySA.com.
“Let’s put a dildo in the hands of every ****ed off college student who hasn’t been heard in this safety conversation,” Jin added. “Strap it on, feel the discomfort, feel the weird looks. Wear it loud, wear it proud, and don’t take them off until people take their guns home.”

Jin said she got the idea for founding Cocks not Glocks when she realized that the university prohibits sex toys as defined by the Texas Penal Code, “including a dildo or artificial vagina, designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs.”
“You would receive a citation for taking a dildo to class before you would get in trouble for taking a gun to class,” Jin wrote on the event page. “Heaven forbid the *****.”
The demonstration drew a large crowd. But as far as changing any hearts or minds or having any political impact, that remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, the pro-gun group Students for Concealed Carry had no objection to the Cocks not Glocks people.
“If carrying a phallus to class helps you express yourself, go for it,” said Brian Bensimon, Texas state director for the group, in a statement. “We welcome this demonstration that freedom of speech and concealed carry of handguns can coexist on the same campus”

I'm so glad my kids got their educations years ago. I'd have a reeeaaalllly hard time sending them to a US university with the type of "professorship" they have nowadays. Hopefully here in TX, after a few years, the kids (and professors) will not be so afraid of this new statute...
