M1903A3 New Stock
The stock that came with this Remington was cracked and patched, so I replaced it with an unissued scant stock. After reading all the search suggestions I decided to use pure tung oil for the stock set. BAR and others chimed in and I thank you all.
The SN of the M1903A3 is Oct. 1943, and the barrel is dated Sept. 1943. Old, but accurate it deserved a better look. I will keep the old stock set.
A part of the follower had come off and Vincent kindly offered to weld it for me, so I sent it off to Texas. Got it back like new. It was important to me, and I thank him.
