Lastchapter, Yes--made at the Longbranch factory in Ontario. Find the "Knowledge Library
" at the top left corner of this page. There is a ton of interesting info there about the Longbrach No.4 rifles. Salt Flat

Long Branch was in what is now Mississauga, Ont. The plant was at Dixie and Lakeshore Rd. Closed by Trudeau the Elder in 1975 as soon as the FN C1A1 contract was complete. (The SOB couldn't close the place fast enough.) The actual plant was surprisingly small considering it's output. Was in it a couple times.
And yes, all Long Branch rifles were Canadian
. Wouldn't be called Long Branch rifles if they weren't.
And check the headspace before you shoo your rifle.
Spelling and Grammar count!
