So do these only work in revolvers? and wouldn't this be better to have it own thread rather than get lost in the world insurrection.

Politicians just don't get it.
NY closes Times Square for the New Years ball drop with the exception of a few "invited guests" From videos I've seen, those invited guests appeared for the most part to be employees responsible for putting out advertising set ups for their companies.
A notable exception was the mayor of NY and his wife who had the gall to dance in celebration in the middle of the empty street.
Meanwhile in PA, the governor who we still don't know where he is proclaimed Thursday that his shut down restrictions he enacted nearly three weeks ago would end on schedule on Monday the 4th. After announcing that, he followed up with a promise to continue prosecution of all the businesses that refused to close during this time, mostly restaurants. He's lost every court challenge so far, nothing to indicate he will win one and yet these businesses that are already struggling will have to pay lawyers to defend them. Wolf is seeking restitution for having to send government officers to these places to serve them notice to close down.
The media continues to find the isolated irate health care worker to tell the world how over stressed the health care system is (it is not, see earlier post) and California with the harshest lock down conditions in the country currently has the worst outbreak which reasonable people would recognize that these lock downs accomplish little if not nothing at all. People are going to get this one way or the other no matter what they do to try and stop it.
I personally avoid other people, I wear masks in stores and clients homes. I wash my hands often, use sanitizer whenever I return to my vehicle being careful not to touch my mask until I do so yet I have counted three separate colds that I have caught and Covid is supposed to be easier to catch than a cold. The last time I had a fever was January of last year when I was very sick for two days, my wife was very sick for six days just prior to that. So did we have Covid then and not know it? No way to tell.

I have mentioned this before but think it bears repeating.
Thanks to the moderators for the latitude in keeping this thread open. And thanks to each of you who contribute. More common sense here than any other outlet, which has contributed a great deal to my continued sanity. Glad to report my lingering fatigue post infection is just about gone. It looks as though I will need all I can muster with the continuing nonsense that seems to be growing by the day.
Stay safe, stay strong, stay free.

No one has brought up yesterday's current events yet...I'll risk taking a stab at it.
We were considering taking the train in to the city wed. morning and taking the kids along. What stopped us from going was reports that the mayor was not allowing port-a-pots to be brought in - my wife and daughter have not been properly trained in hiding behind the Washington monument and peeing in a bottle.
I think...well I have more to say and plenty more written...it's now moved into a file named "murdered darlings" (Faulkner reference about writing, nothing more).
For now, I'll just echo thanks to our moderators, and all you milsurpers in general, for your latitude and tolerance. There is no where else right now that is so open, free, diverse, and collegial as this thread has been. I've never lived close to family since I left for the Marines - I no longer have neighbors I can drink beer in the garage with and gab. It's a different world now for sure.
