The top numbers remind me of something Bavarian or from an European ( look at the font ) arsenal of some type, but that is such a WAG that I'm expecting to be wrong. I know some Bavarian carbines I've seen have a sight sitting on top of the front receiver ring, but it looks nothing like the OP's sight.

Howdy Deldriver,
Do you mean the numbers in the sight?
Do you may have some images from those Bavarian carbines that you have seen?
Regards Eddie =)

Yes, the elevation numbers on top of the sight. Like I said the rear sight seen on top of the front receiver ring of some carbines look nothing like yours so I doubt it would be of any help to you.
