K98 Marking identification Help

I have a DOT 44 marked Model 98 Mauser. I know about the DOT marking. I am unsure about the GR marking and the Dot 13 marking and some of the others. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know the answer to your question but your excellent pictures brought up another question - when did they stop marking the receiver screws with the matching serial numbers? My AR41 has both screws marked and I noticed your 1944 does not. I was wondering if they did this in later rifles as they cut steps to speed up production.

Correct.
There was a mid-war instruction to speed up production, and many of the extra numbering of parts seen on K98k's was reduced along with other items. The instruction was sent out to all the factories in the spring of 1942, and so by mid-1942 production, the numbered screws had gone.

Thank you for that info! I was actually looking at a 1944 that the seller was claiming to be all-matching but when I noticed the screws had no numbers, I passed on it and took the AR41 (so glad I did). Now, if I see a post-42 K98k, I will know why the screws are not marked.

Post-41 really, as there would have been way more 1942 dated rifles made with undated screws than dated. It will only be during the first quarter of 42 production that would have had dated screws for definite, and then it could be a bit hit and miss depending on maker during next few weeks, but certainly by mid way through 2nd quarter of 42 all rifles from all makers would have had undated screws etc., so again different numbers depending on production rates for each factory.
