Got an old relic in decent shape. Likely a 44 rimfire carbine, by Lee Firearms Company of Milwaukee Wisconsin stamped 1862.All original, t left side saddle ring, hammer pulls back allowing barrel to slide to the right for loading, extractor slide also on the right. I've seen them upwards of $23,000 US to $7500 US . Might be interested in selling this to the right owner. Only a few hundred made. Quite a history behind what was to be a US Cival war contract.
What do any of you experts say of this gun. I may just keep it for my kids some day. I've had it 54 years now.
Thanks for looking
Could send pics to email if you P Message me your email. I'm no techy, can't post pics here.

I'm definitely no expert but I would certainly keep it for the kids unless you are desperate for the money. Sounds like an awesome family heirloom to me!

With stupid Canadian laws, to display this and have it maybe ripped off, could be huge loss. It is quite a cool little gun.
Anyway, I sent a reply email, yes good pics are very important. I sent some suggestions on that too. I'll be here when time comes...sounds like something we seldom see here.

Is this the gun?
Yes the one I have is like that, apparently some were a hex barrel. Not mine it's round.
