Dad's MK2, M7, Red Cross Bag?
I was cleaning and rearranging the garage again and had to move my father's footlockers. Decided to look through the box again and thought you might want to see a couple of MK2's and M7 that are loaded away in it. My dad served 30+ years and through Korea, Vietnam, and the so-called cold war.

I would describe it as a "First Aid bag", the "Red Cross" indicating first aid.
The "Red Cross" is a non governmental, non political and obviously a non military organisation that jealously guards it's neutrality.

I found another like yours in one of his other boxes. I guess after 30 plus years he'd have knives here. I also found a knife that had a cardboard scabbard that has "My Boy Scout Knife" written on it in his handwriting. I think that one is my favorite.

The only marking I can make out are partial PATNO..... and below it are the tops of what looks like numbers. I took it out of the cardboard box it was in and put it in one of his footlockers since my garage is tore up right now I don;t have easy access so give me a couple of days and I'll pull it out again. Thank you for the information
