Moisin Nagant beats out expensive target rifles at 1,000 yds
Here in Texas an informal 1,000 yd shooting competition is held every month where 5 random shooters are invited to the range to try their hand at hitting first, a 10" plate, then a 5" plate. No money or prizes, just the joy of receiving a "Texas Plinking" challenge coin. It's not always the shooter with the best scope and most expensive rifle that successfully hits the plate(s) as witnessed by this episode of "Texas Plinking".
Enjoy!

Pretty darn good endorsement for a no-drill scope mount cantilevered back with a large, heavy scope on it.
