    Stan Pro Stock Stamp Meaning?

A recent GB Standard Products Carbine offering was wearing a stock with the bottom of the pistol grip stamped USED

Any thoughts to what USED stood for?
I came across some papers from my Fathers service in the Philippines that 'May' be a clue. But would like to hear from others first.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Sill coming up empty on this one Charlie. Interesting for sure and the search will continue, guessing a property marking. Reminds me of the mysterious left side NOPM-6? stamps that show up every now and then, lots of speculation with no hard evidence.
Thinking the buyer of that GB SP may have got a decent deal.

    Wayne,
I may have a lead on the USED stamped stock but I need more time to dig thru some ole paperwork my Father had in his WWII footlocker files / notes. Pretty sure I seen the use of USED on something. My Father was in the Philippines until late War as a Engineer during the massive build up of Engineers for the 'Possible' rebuilding of Japanicon.

Yea, I remember the NOP M stamp, I thought we had a close / possible answer to that one.
    Wasn't it Plant or building 6 ?

It'll be a few days, I got a little deep in to a few projects and postponed celebrating our 42nd Wedding anniversary yesterday the 7th. So currently getting the eye and hand on the hip. She'll survive until next week. Guest room aint too bad

......... Also thought GB buyer made out well, if all gauges well...........
