Showing off my M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch Collection
First time I had all my Magazine pouches out in about five years.
What a wonderful hobby. Please Enjoy!

Very nice Ric, how many of them are original, never messed with, Ive never slipped a pouch over mine, as Im afraid of scratching the stock.

Nice collection; but why only collect one type of belt pouch? No double loop or 30 round pouches. Question; do you know what the snap is for?

Very nice collection and thank you for sharing. I was at Books-A-Million this past weekend thumbing through their WWII history books and was amazed at the number of carbines pictured with the vast majority wearing carbine pouches on the stocks. It was also interesting to see the various ways slings were attached. These guys did what worked for them.

The snap on the magazine pouch mates to the snap on the pistol belt, where the magazine pouch was designed to go.

To protect your stock, put two layers of duct tape inside the pouch sleeve, over the male snap section. It will cushion the snap as it lays against the stock and prevent damage. You can also stuff the pouch pockets with something soft, like tissue paper instead of mags so they look full but don't press so hard against the stock.
I'm from the South, with duct tape, you can fix anything.

The items holding the pouches look pretty nice too. Are any of the slings marked?

Very nice collection. One thing to watch out for! You show 13. That is a very unlucky number. When we see each other at West Springfield, you should sell one of these to me, cheap, so your luck holds up

Or buy the fourteenth one.

As part of the 'change' taking place in Washington, they will be taking carbines from the rich and giving them to the poor, so I wouldn't be advertising I had more than one.
