That label is a fake. That format was never used by the military. Furthermore back in the days of FSN, the military never packed anything in a plastic wrapper without VCI paper.
Barrels that were imported from Korea had no import markings, unless they came in assembled on a carbine.
Are there any markings on the Bayonet Lug?
Thanks Bill. No, there are no markings on the bayonet lug/band. Fake label too! It looks like this whole thing was made up to deceive. I guess the front sight is worth something?

Herlo barrel
It appears to me to be a Herlo barrel. If so, it won't even make a good tomato stake since it may rust on the tomatoes. LOL Some guy went to a lot of trouble to disguise a worthless barrel. JMHO..

Where does one go to get a good deal barrel for a carbine mil or commercial ?

Has anyone ever put there hands on a Herlo barrel that did not have a Swaged on gas piston housing? Bubba-7 has a few barrels.
