Got a brief look at a SA Garandicon, serial #17861xx, which I believe puts it around July 1943. I'm curious about the barrel, which I believe (I'm 71, and didn't have my glasses) was an SA barrel dated 47. Is that possible? How long after WWII did SA make barrels?
