Well, I just had to go look as "CRB" rang a bell in this old head. Of the four Ross rifles I have the only one which is, in my opinion, "a mess" is the one marked CRB2182! It has a F/L barrel but some idiot has cut a dovetail across the receiver ring. Oh well.
