    Sour grapes over being burned...

Well, got burned today from a source I didn’t expect… Numrich.

After two calls to customer service today over two different parts deliveries, I will be returning the parts they sent. Part of the last “conversation” was me being referred to the Terms and Condition of Sale page (strangely, for information which was not addressed by the Terms and Condition of Sale page). Seems their company representative thought I should read the information, so I did. I could not find the information the company rep was talking about, but I thought I would share with everyone what I did find that was actually in the Terms and Condition of Sale page…

“Numrich Gun Parts Corporation is not responsible for the use or inability to use any of the products offered, … or any claims stated in our materials regarding how these products function or work…”

Hmmm… read it 15 times. Did I understand this correctly? – you list it, advertise it and sell it but you are not responsible if it doesn’t work like you claim and advertise it does?

But good news… I can return the parts for a full refund of their purchase price…. (I just eat the shipping costs for both ways). That will allow them to sell that inventory to the next person who doesn’t read the Terms information…

I know, it’s just me disappointed in myself for not reading exactly what was listed on the company page. I will calm down. Thanks for listening to my sour grapes.

Numrich Gun Parts Corp. - The World's Largest Supplier of Firearms Parts and Accessories

Note for the lawyers – I have stated only what happened and an accurate quote from the posted Terms and Condition of Sale page listed above. I have also asked a question if I have interpreted the listed wording correctly. There is NO attempt to impinge upon the reputation of the listed company or accuse them of listing merchandise in a vague, misleading or deceptive way.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with this company? Is it just me or are my expectations about buying carbine parts from online companies too high?
