Hey everyone,

New member here- Just bought my own first rifle- got myself a K98icon

I noticed my serial number was really really low, so I wanted to know where this gun game from, what kind of action it may have seen. I've done as much research as I could, and I have never seen or heard of these marks. Perhaps someone here could help me. There is no marks at all, other than the serial numbers, and one small stamp on the side, and a really small one on the top. On top, it is like a weird shaped 8 on the top of the receiver, with no other marks. On the side, next to the serial number, there is a weird stamp w/ 3 pointed leaves.

The stock is not original, I know, but I kinda like it, its a lot lighter. I was just curious also how much a replacement stock would be, if I wanted to make it a complete gun again one of these days, its a pain not having the pin-disassemble hole in the stock. I paid around 300 for this, I know it may have been a little bit high, but I really liked it, and I'm impulsive.
