Question on '03 manufacture date

Just bought a Springfield '03, serial number 14430xx, barrel SA 4-32
I checked the manufacture dates for this serial number on old guns.net and it shows a manufacture date of 1934. I was looking at Poyer and he says that assembly of '03s stopped at Springfield Armory in fiscal year 1927. He said that some were manufactured and assembled after that date but only for NM and DCM sales. Was just curious if this might be one of those rifles.
