A friend of mine that I have not seen for over 40 years was selling a No 4 T today at the Gun Show in Vernon BC. This gun and a few other great guns were from a person who had a bit of a run-in with the police, ( The judge actually told the police to give him back all his guns and leave the man alone or she was going to charge the police, and prosecutors with contempt, according to my friend). Because of this problem he sold all his guns to my friend who will now resell them. He also had a No 7 (beautiful), No 1 Mk III (1942)with bayonet (very good) and a Johnson in pretty good condition. The T was all matching in excellent condition, the transit case and scope case did not match however. Asking price $ 4,000.00 and it sold it less than 1 hour. I was told about it by another friend I was helping at the show and when I walked over the owner had given the gentleman ahead of me a hour to think about it. He took it and really got a great gun. He also had some very nice handguns including a Nazi marked Browning HP. This is not a large show but the prices were reasonable and there were many great firearms for sale. Lots of Winchesters...can't believe I said that on the Lee Enfield forum.
