Hi folks,

Well this year I haven't been restoring as much as usual (a new job and other stuff kept getting in the way)!

Still, I found a bit of time to keep bringing back some old rifles back to life.

I worked on a Jungle Carbine for a local gentleman (but forgot to take pics before returning the rifle to him). Doh.

I recently finished working on a SMLE that has the SSA mark on the receiver.

This one started as a sporterized rifle. The wood came to me varnished, so I stripped the wood and fitted it to the SSA barreled receiver. The butt looks to be Australianicon wood... There is a faint "FTR" mark on the receiver. Despite this, the bore isn't great. Good rifling, but frosty with light pitting. Still, it groups decently, which means I'm happy

So nothing exceptional but I thought I'd share the pics with you anyways since I don't have much to show these days!

Lou
