I just picked up this National Postal Meter Carbine from a local gun shop for $400. You'll notice it's actually in what I believe is a Plainfield sliding stock. A friend of a friend wants the stock from me, and I want to get an original style stock on this carbine. So, two questions--any idea what a Plainfield stock is worth? And what's the best way to get ahold of a stock that would've been correct on this NPM? Anything else I should know/look at on this?
Thanks! - Chris
