Arrow Savage No. 4 MK 1* Factory Display Rifle

    Feedback and comments anyone?

Joe Salter - Savage No. 4 MK 1* Factory Display Rifle (click here)

    Price: US $2495.00

A savage made rifle that shows the "S No. 4 MK1* on the left side. The rifle has no serial number on the frame or bolt. The only other markings are all of the savage/Stevens letters "S" and the lend lease "U.S." property mark on the left receiver.303 Britishicon caliber with a 2 groove 25 1/4 " barrel showing a bright, new 2 groove bore. A very interesting rifle that evidently never received a serial number. Condition is as new with about 99% parkerized finish remaining. The buttstock and handguard grade excellent with only a few handling marks. Standard military type sights. The "U.S. Property" marks and model stampings are crisp. This is a collector /investor grade rifle. This is a factory display rifle which was used during WWII in various displays as built by the factory to show the quality of product. This piece came out of the factory collection approx. 25 years ago during the company reorganization. None of the display pieces were ever serial number as per this near new condition piece. For the Savage, Lee Enfield or US military collector. . FFl or C&R
