On the fence with a local Enfield (well, as to purchasing it, not really out at the fence, that'd probably **** the neighbors off a little). No.5 MK1 marked England, 1945 on the wrist and BNP (British National Property?) on the receiver ring. $399 at a local big box store with a used gun rack. No obvious import marks (which seem to only bother the Garand
and Carbine collectors anyway). I didn't spend all that much time with it, since I was only browsing for the hell of it and not really looking for another rifle right now...but it's worked into my head. Good price? Seems lower than GB, but I don't really trust ANYTHING about Gunbroker anymore. If I go back and look at it again is there something that would be a make/break factor that I should look for?
