    K98 Norwegian

I recently picked up an interesting 1938 S/27 Norwegianicon. The rifle's Germanicon SN is 8261 and mostly matching. All the bolt parts, floorplate, triggerguard, follower and screws and both bands match while the buttplate is double matched. The rear sight, bolt stop are unmatching. All rear sights on Norwegians are unmatching as they underwent modification. The Norwegian SN is 58324 and is matched to the bolt body and buttplate. It has a beautiful fiddleback Walnut stock and Walnut handguard. The bore is mirror bright and of course, chambered in 30'06. HAER in Norwegian indicates it was issued to the Army. Enjoy the pics and regards, Rick.
