I purchased a Germanicon mause that i was told was original. It was made by JP Sauer and Sohn (147) in 1940. The but plate is flat and does not wrap around the side of the stock like most ive seen. Is it possible that it had a flat style but plate when it left the factork in 1940 or was i taken advantage of?
