    No4 & M1903 at the range

Was running late but managed to get some shooting in late monday evening and early tuesday morning, the idea was to test some cast bullet loads, plus normal loads.

Also to zero the No4, this was a Bubba case as someone had in the past tried to drill and tap for scopepads etc, I just carried on were they had left off (and rectified the best I could) , not the most pretty No4 T repro but it does the job.

The cast bullets were for the .30-06 but they didnt preform as well as I thought they would back to the drawing board with them. I had plenty of ammo, some to test and some to just plink.

The results (targets @ 100mtrs) below are for the No4 with the No32 Mk1 scope fitted, not too worried about hitting the bull wanted to know if it would group , then was going to adjust, (forgetting the tool didnt help). Lighting in the tunnel is not the best and at times you get a haze ( My excuse), the 4 shot group was when I decided to put my glasses on. (ammo was Privi)

This was some ammo made up a while back but what was in there I dont know ?

Next was the last lap with M1903, not as good as previous outing but was having trouble getting a good sight picture (ammo was privi case, 155 grn Lapua scenar and 45 grns N140)

160 mile round trip, back in the house at 0230 tuesday morning, smile on my face PRICELESS
