Just a note to say how I managed to sort it out.
Firstly a fore end shim was manufactured to give a 9lb pressure on the barrel, this now has a nice snap back. Secondly after explaining last time that she was still very low with a -.30 foresight blade and some further calculations, I decided to bite the bullet and annoy some purists a No4 MK 1 foresight post was purchased. This duly came in the post. After working out which direction to drift out the taper pin the removal and fitment was a doddle.
Down to the range for the first time this year (weather not too good). This time it was
-5deg C out there but no wind. After 10 rounds I had it I had climbed back up the foresight blades and ended with a +.30 and one click on the rear sight at 300 yrds, she is in the V. The front sight had to also tapped over to the right by 1/8". (POI center of target).
I would like to thank everybody who assisted with suggestions.Information
