Well i finally got a real nice day to shoot one of my winter purchases a BCD 43 K98icon > I handloaded .323dia HORNADY 170gr roundnose stoked with 47.5 IMR4064 FEDERAL PRIMERS AND BRASS and what a pleasant suprise It shot consistant 2 1/2 inch 5 shot groups at 100yds off the bench. Gotta love those MAUSERS eh! Next in line is a K98 J.P. SAUER & SON 42 That was another winter purchase.I hope it does as well with that same 170gr load. I may take out the BCD and try to get a whitetail next season. I've taken whitetails with the swedish mausers and they drop where they stand using 140gr handloads
