I have just fitted a Twin Zero 4/47 to my recently acquired '54 Fazakerley ready for its first range day next week.
What puzzles me is when the rear aperture is centred roughly on the centre of the bore, whilst I would expect the windage vernier to be roughly central, it is somwehere round the 15 mark. There's also much more windage adjustment if you wind the aperture to the right, than the left.
Is this normal? I can't see how I could have installed it incorrectly.....the only logical thought would be is that there should be a spacer block between sight and action to take the windage centre left, but as far as I am aware they all mount straight on.
Your collective thoughts please.......some pics attached
