SELLERS DESCRIPTION BELOW

For us sensible collectors: This is a Telescopic Musket Sight Model of 1908 No372 by the Warner & Swayse Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, Pat.Feb.13-06 MAY.22-06.

The scope is in overall good+ condition for its age. It had its Eyecup removed inexpertly a very long time ago, and most of the finish is gone. The optics are good, but are in dire need of a cleaning, as there is a drop of very old original oil visible on the inside of the fine crosshair optic. The drop is nearest the corner of the rear lense. All other attachments have been removed, but, luckily only replaceable items have gone missing. This is an excellent and affordable original WW I Sniping scope, and, according to other items captured from Germanicon WW I troops (which I may list next month) point to a veteran's bringback from the actual war, instead of some piece of kept in the US piece of kit that looks minty and never heard a shot in anger.

I have placed a reserve on the item, to protect the owner's interests, as I am selling this item for a friend of mine. The reserve is half of what the average W&S 1913 goes for, so you have an excellent opportunity to obtain this fine and ultra rare piece of kit for a fraction of the price.
