Have some mildly buggered threads on my gas cylinder and gas screw. Screw will tighten up, but there is some resistance when turning. Wondering if I can save the expense of buying a tap & die by running a new gas screw with clean threads into the GC a few times. Is the gas screw metal harder than the gas cylinder metal?
