    my new old scope

    I wanted a scope to use when I check the bedding on my no.4 and later for load development but I wanted one that at least looked like it might belong on the rifle.
    I found this on eBay. It's a 4x J.C. Higgins brand. I believe it was manufactured by Weaver but I could be wrong.

    It's hard to see from this picture but the optics look clearer than a lot of lower priced new scopes I looked through.

    Now to get an ATI mount and a lace on cheek piece and I will be able to try it out.
