    No1 in .22

Well before someone posts "need pictures" I hope to have a few later tonight and will send them to Badger and ask him to post them for me. Yeah, the chance of me posting a picture are slim and fat.

Sometime ago I had a friend show me a No1 in .22 cal and I told him I would buy it when he was ready to sell.

Well the time has arrived and I want any input on what the gun is,

    It is marked

    Enfield
    1915
    Sht L E
III This is crossed out with four stars across the III

    No2 IV star

It has a A G Parker sight that has a double fold system to store it beside the action.

    The mag. is marked 22

It still has the magazine cut off.

It is marked DP on the barrel which is crossed out and just in front of that mark is PH.

It is a real .22 barrel by Parker Hale and not one using a liner.

The gun comes with a transit case, wood handled cleaning rod, sling and is in very good condition. The transit case is marked and appears to have been stenciled in 1960.

It appears to be a great shooter as it has some targets with it which I think were shot with the gun.

The iris on the rear sight is adjustable and also comes with different colored glass inserts for better vision in different light??

I know it would be great if I had pictures but as of this moment I don't but would really appreciate any comments on the gun.

Now the story on this gun is very interesting as it was sold to the person I am buying it from as part of a divorce settlement. The transit case is addressed to the OC RCMP in Victoria BC and according to the lady(divorcee) one time was in a Arab country?? She also told the gentleman I am buying it from that she also had one in 22 mag. but he passed on that one and told me tonight he regrets that.

I am not buying the story as in reality it means nothing however it is interesting and I am getting a very good deal on it.

    Thanks

WOW, my friend I am buying it from just sent me 10 pictures and I will send them to Badger and ask a favour from him in posting them.

Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?
