A little extra challenge- shooting through the grass! And, yes, that's about how it looked through the sights.





FN 1967 ball, fired w/o sighters after shooting the LC'66 ammo- which was kinda pitiful.

So, it's not super accurate. Works fine. FN ammo still pooches out primers and is more vigourous. Could freshen the crown, but that's not gonna happen any time soon. Sight picture is very good, but obscures a little more territory than an M1.

ETA: I wish I had some of the old targets. Having reread the first post (finally), it seems my memory isn't as bad as first feared. Note- this rifle still won't get shot very much, but it looks like it's time to see WHY its not doing so well. Something to look forward to, I hope!
