Hi
Looking for some advise from someone who has had any experience in applying for a UKicon Section 7.1 or 7.3 firearms licence.
I am based in Gloucestershire and have a Section 1 certificate, but am toying with the idea of expanding my militaria collection with some World War 1 pistols and earlier marks of .455 Webley`s
Would I be better going for the section 7.1 which I believe is what I would require to keep them at home with no ammunition and forming part of a collection (and what is constituted as a collection?)
Or would I be better served to apply for a 7.3 joining a designated club and having just the one pistol that is permanently left on the club premises but can be shot.
Or should I stick with my Black powder Pistol and buy a deactivated MKVI Webley?

All suggestions and section 7 experiences welcome

Thanks Terry
