Colt Model 1911

It has been around the block a few times. Serial number is No 577217, heart shaped cuts in grip frame. Unfortunately the US PROPERTY has been removed from frame. It has what appear to be the correct grips, smooth flat MSH. Slide has Patent dates up to AUG 19 1913 prancing colt logo and then COLTS PTFA MFG CO HATFORD CT USA. It has been parked but the slide stop, safety lever and hammer are blued and fine checkered. It has a two tone mag A stamped on toe. It came with a brown leather holster stamped G&K 1918. Barrel is stamped on under side small G. It was priced right and will be a decent shooter...too bad about the gone missing PROPERTY marking though.
