    AK reliability review. Interesting article

    I posted this link about 3 years ago, so I thought I would resurrect it for the new members. While the guy evaluated a WASR, it is true of the AK platform. The WASR is a good deal for the price. While I have a nice Saiga restored to AK-103ish configuration, the WASR will do the same thing, just not as pretty or quite as accurate. It will still function under unbelievable abuse, and it doesn't break your heart if it gets dinged up. Below is a link to an unbelievable torture test a gun writer subjected the lowly WASR to. I would not want to tryi it on my AR15, or even my USGI M1icon Carbine. The AK platform, however, doesn't even burp!
