Revisiting the Name of the Garand rifle

I dug through some old copies from the library I forgot I had. They show they were calling the Garand the Garand Semi-automatic back as far as 1939. I am going to put these up as I scan them so stay tuned. I hope they are readable.Rick B

It looks as if they used a few names as this one is called the "M1 or Garand" Rick B

This one must be the 1st Winchester being test fired by John Garand.
