Hello Gentlemen,

First off, I'm new the site so I'd just like to say that this is a fantastic database of knowledge, thanks for making it available!

Anyways, I'm in the middle of resorting a SA 1942 manufactured Garandicon back to its original configuration, but find myself in need of some assistance. The rifle currently has a post war birch stock installed that I'd like to get rid of. I'd like to replace it with an authentic EMcF stamped stock which would be correct for the serial number on the receiver but this is where I am in need of some guidance. The problem is that I'm located in Canadaicon so I'm having issues with US export laws. I've come across quite a few nice examples but they all seem to be located in the US so I can't get my hands on them. Does anyone know either how I can get around such laws (legally) ie. if there are any dealers which hold special permits OR if there are fellow Canucks on this forum, could someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks for everyone's time!
